So do we think this version of RF is professor zoom?
Has anyone thought that Dr. Wells could be Wally West from another world? I believe he's the only Flash that had to have a device to "give" him the connection to the speedforce.
The other option is a future Thawne, but then again this has been discussed before.
As for the speedforce, basically think of it as a "heaven dimension" that was created by the first real speedster: Barry Allen, that all other speedsters draw all their power from to get the same abilities as Barry.

I don't see Wally West being willing to kill people the way Wells has. Plus I believe the showrunners have already said that Wells was a Reverse Flash. And I'm fairly certain that Wally got his powers the same was Barry did, and didn't need a device (at least throughout most of his history).

He did, he was actually in an accident right in front of Allen, in Allen's office. But at some point in the comics Wally West from another world travels to the current world and in doing so loses his access to the speedforce because of him not being on the right world. So Steel builds him a device that allows him to tap into the speedforce

Wasn't that in one of the DC/Marvel crossovers? When Wally went to the Marvel "universe" he couldn't tap into the speed force or something? I don't know if that counts as "canon" for the DC universe.

I just love the fun in speculation.

Nerd Alert.
It is fun watching the comic book junkies speculate over which version of the comic if any will be followed in the TV series.
Us non-comic nerds just get to enjoy the ride with no expectations and completely surprised by whatever path they choose.

The crazy thing with me, is that I haven't even read any of the Flash Comics before the Flashpoint Paradox (basically, only the New 52 Flash)
Which means, none of the reverse flashes that are even possible, are in my repertor of possible reverse flashes in this show, the only Reverse Flash I really "know":

To echo what UNRealist said, the fun is in the speculation for us comic nerds. It is almost as fun as actually watching the episodes.
ETA: And what I love about these threads is that the non-comic readers don't get pissed at us comic fans for the speculations. I think it makes these threads that much more enjoyable.

that also just goes to show the genius that is Geoff Johns, the dude can create anything and allow for discussion across all mediums. We could find out something next week that completely destroys all of our speculation, or we could not, but either way, the ride is so worth it for all parties involved.

Ain't that the truth. All of last season I figured that Slade would end up killing Sara at the end of the season. So what happens? Sara survives the season finale, only to get killed off in this season's premiere episode.
And I love the way that the showrunners are able to change the universe and character without pissing off us comic fans. That is actually a fine line to walk, yet they pull it off nicely.

LOL at them using Faulkner's title for his book about an incest obsessed family in rural Mississippi for the latest episode of The Flash.

I usually try to go online and research a little bit but the Flash's backstory started getting really complicated. I just stopped looking around and decided to just enjoy the ride.

There are so many variations of the flash and the reverse flash it's difficult to keep anything straight when you are a non reader just attempting to become informed.

Only one more episode before the Firestorm episode.

This show has been pretty meh for me so far. It's honestly gotten kind of boring.

So, how do the people in the cells at Star Labs eat?
They are completely sealed and you can never open them to bring in food or water, or guys like the gas guy could escape.

Maybe Wells doesn't care if they starve to death.
So the girl hitting on Barry at the bar is Linda Park? How is that gonna work? They'll just substitute Wally with Barry?

When those workers walked into the tunnel, I was thinking that they were about to stumble upon Ronnie/Stein. Then they showed the chalk writing, but I couldn't make out what it said at first. Then when I got a good look I might've had a nerdgasm. Then I was like, Grodd's about to dispatch these fools like a boss.
It was a little too dark for me to get a good feel at how he looked (how CGI he actually looks). But they way they had him charge the those guys was pretty darn cool.
