measure any narrow places your mower will need to get through, such as gates, two trees, bushes etc. then get the biggest one you can afford that will fit between everything.

Kubota
0% for 60 months
I've got a 23HP gas burner (Kohler) with a 54" deck. Had it since '03/'04. Haven't had a problem with it. I mow between 4 and 11 acres weekly. Other than blades/belts/oil, I never turn a wrench on it. For all the shite I hear about Kohler engines, I've been very pleased with mine.
smaller deck should be OK for your needs. My neighbor has a Hustler and mows 3 acres weekly. Hes never had a problem he couldn't fix himself so TIFWIW. Pretty good savings between the price of the two machines. Kubota is just about to price themselves out of the market IMO. Not because they don't offer quality, but because the competition in catching up at a lower sale price.

anything faster and you're looking at a complete commercial unit with white pumps and wheel motors.
Starting at around $8000.
That's for any brand
