Yall are too funny. Last week it was all "WE WANT HARRIS!!" "Jennings sucks!" "Play the freshman, coach." now that he's started against an actual opponent, it's "well he's just young and inexperienced." "Harris just isn't quite ready yet" "it'll take time". These are all things I'd imagine Les and Cam knew going into this game. But hey, les finally gives the fans what they want and now we need to stfu and let the coaches coach. Thanks

Part of me thinks he really did this.

Those statements don't really contradict each other. We had to play him to know those things, and many knew it was a possibility.

Great thread though.

Ummmm, no.

Although I can see why you might think that Les was trying to be that bad.

Well when Harris is shitting down his leg (fumbling snaps, turning the wrong way on handoffs, throwing 15 feet over the head of every fricking receiver), it's going to lead to a lot of conservative offense.

The play calling was going to be somewhat conservative no matter what. When Harris started how he did, it probably increased it.

And then I bet he said "well shite, if my inexperienced QB wouldn't fumble the snap then we could probably keep on running it and pick up first downs"

Really!? 9 straight runs and 3 straight 3 and outs to start the game and you put all of this on a freshman qb playing in his first road game!? Coaching was what set our players up to fail. Starting Harris was the right move and still is, he's far more talented than Jennings. If anythings got to change it's our dumbass coach

Outcome wouldn't have been any better with Jennings. If you're suggesting that the coaches are intentionally throwing the game then I don't know what to tell you. It's called getting outcoached.

He completed 3 fricking passes dude. How could yall possibly still be saying that's he's a better option than Jennings is right now,

my favorite part of the pre game was Blackledge saying that Miles and Crowton would find out what BH is most comfortable running and run that that is what good coaches would do

Because even with that he still has a better completion percentage on the year and much less turnovers.

Funny - I thought Les was oblivious to TV, Radio, Internet and just coached how he wanted to. Now you are trying to blame fans for staff incompetence. That's really funny. So which is it? Les that is oblivious, or Les that does what the fans want just to spite them?

As a true freshmen against a top five team on the road, with blatantly obvious and predictable play calling. Yes he missed some throws but at least he didn't throw two picks and fumble against a New Mexico State team at home. A qb controversy is the least of our worries with the way our coaches and defense look
