LSU's offense is very easy to stop

LSU's offense is an absolute dream for any defensive coordinator in the SEC. They are drooling when they see LSU's offense.
1st down= stack the box with at least 8 men to stop the run up the middle. No need to worry about a run to the edges. Sell out for an up the middle run.
2nd down= stack the box with 8 again. Get ready for the exact same play again on offense. Expect the same results as first down.
3rd down= Drop back in coverage. Blitz one or two up the middle. LSU's quarterback will try to scramble towards the sideline at the first hint of pressure. Have the safety double cover LSU's wide receiver going deep.
4th down= punt.
Do the same thing on defense for 3 quarters because LSU's offense will not change or make any adjustments.
The defensive coordinator can now use the rest of the week to start preparing a defensive scheme to stop other SEC teams with a much better offense but with less offensive talent than LSU.

The thing that kills me ... is that often ... we still get 6-8 yds....which is great.
Then ... it just all goes to shite.
0-13 on 3rd downs ... frickin' A.

So you're saying we have a cupcake offense?

You just revealed the blueprint

What's crazy is that we have NO ANSWER for this.
We have no answer for a defense stacking 8 in the box.
We have no answer for a defense bringing pressure to the QB.
It's almost as if we don't anticipate 8 in the box. And we don't anticipate blitzes. It's truly mind boggling.

What I don't understand is why we seemingly roll out the exact same game plan, and I call it a plan loosely, regardless of who our opponent is. We don't take advantage of key matchups that favor us and we don't seem to try to exploit our opponent's weaknesses. Case in point is Moo State. Everybody and their grandmother knew that MSU's weakness is their defensive secondary, yet LSU spent the entire first half trying to run it down their throats, even though they have the best defensive line in the SEC. Finally, when we started to spread them out a bit, we were able to get the offense going.
It almost looks as if the coaches don't bother to study game film and learn our opponents' tendencies. Every team we play sure seems to know ours, and yet we have no answer when they stuff the run and force us out of Les' prefered ground and pound game plan. We are so ridiculously predicatable on offense that it's crazy.

It is like the Audible does not exist for LSU's offense.
The D coordinator would shite a brick if Harris calls an Audible and LSU is spread out with an empty backfield on first down.
