Think he knew the whole time he will have a terrible team? Maybe he was seeing this all summer and fall camp and figured this would be a bad year.

I told my buddy this the day after the Wisconsin game. I told him he either knew this team would be bad, he was retiring or leaving for UM. At this point, it may be 2 out of 3.

We have guys that's been in the system 2-3 years now and still don't know how to line up? When freshman win the heisman you can't use "young" as a crutch

Les retiring would probably be best case scenario. He gets to save face by admitting he isn't doing the best he can anymore and the university gets to go out and find a new coach to breathe some life back into the program.
Although, I'd feel much better about a coaching search if we had a better AD.

We are but that excuse is used way to easily. Our coaching staff is not putting our YOUNG team in the best position to win. BH played poorly but you dont' put a spread QB under center and run staight up middle on 17 of first 20 plays. You don't give him statistically the worse running back we have and keep your leading back on bench till 4th possession.
Help your Young team out a little as Coachs.
