False

Danielle Hunter and Kwon Alexander will play in the NFL, IMHO (at a minimum - we have lots of young players, Beckwith, etc., that may develop into NFL-quality).

define "NFL talent"

because Kwon, Hunter, Beckwith, etc will probably all get drafted and make a team

will they ever play or get a 2nd contract? eh...

Besides having nice arms, what has Hunter done on the field to justify a draft pick.

he will destroy the combine

a team will draft him on his measurables alone

He's leading the team in tackles, brah. A DE. Not a linebacker or safety - a DE.

I think Godchaux can get there. That said, right now, I don't see a true sure fire guaranteed to make a roster player in the front 7 right now.

Kwon has talent but I haven't seen the mental discipline and technique yet required to be an NFL player, especially a linebacker.

Danielle Hunter

Upside: NFL scouts will drool over Danielle's combine numbers.

Downside: NFL scouts will cry when they see his football instincts on the field.

Kwon Alexander

Downside: NFL scouts will "meh" over Kwon's combine numbers.

This is a situation where if I were an NFL scout I'd rank Kwon higher than Danielle right now. To be blunt, Danielle just doesn't enjoy contact like Kwon does. Danielle has the capability of delivering huge hits but just doesn't seek them out like Kwon.

Prediction (barring career ending injury): Danielle will be a 2nd round pick, play two years in the league and 1 year on the practice squad then retire. Kwon will get drafted in the 4th round and spend 10/11 years in the league.

Of the starting front 7, I can see where we have NFL talent. Are they playing up to NFL talent, hell no...we do have a couple youngsters that will get to the NFL, but too early to tell...am hoping CG gets in the mix before long so we can see what he can do...

IMO he has played pretty damn good. Chavis' defense ask a lot out of a DE, they are pretty much a linebackers playing DE. DH would be an all American at Bama.

How about lead SEC Dlinemen in tackles per game? You're a dumbass.

He certainly has. He also played well against Auburn. It is possible to play well in a losing effort. Some people on this board don't seem to understand this.

He is the leading tackler on the team (per game). Jesus.
