BTW, those houses are really close to each other. You could shake hands with neighbor reaching out of the windows.

Nice house. How much did you pay for it and do you have a pool? The front looks good as is. Maybe add a few knockout roses, but be careful to make sure anything you put in doesn't grow too tall to ruin the view of your pretty house.

Advice? Hire a Landscape Architect or Interior Designer.

You think this site runs itself?

I notice a white rock in your front landscaping. Didn't know you were a swinger

You're right, it's dead in that area. I wouldn't add work by installing a pond though, maybe just some nice plants and lighting to accent.

You really only need some flowering plants in your front beds for some color and texture.

I would plant some impatients or vincas, and something variegated like golden eunonymous or hosta.

I'd add a 3-5' wide bed on the other side of the walk and curve it into the existing bed on the right. Install simple masses of groundcovers (liriope) or perennial flowers in front of the evergreen shrubs and in the foreground.
Place some sort of focal feature (bird bath or fountain) aligned with the front door. This would also be a good place for annual color. Don't just think about what the yard looks like when you are outside but how you experience it inside looking through windows or doorways.
I think some good size 5 gallon boxwoods in front of each column at the door would look nice. I'm not a fan of the rocks that fell from the sky at your door step.
Nice house.

This will really help at night if you don't already have lighting that accents the plantings.
