How many times last night did we see our defenders diving at their shoestrings? I'm not calling anyone out, but a certain linebacker had some REALLY bad angles at the ball and looked like a fool diving and missing his assigned man. I understand our defense isn't playing good coverage, but holy shite can we please go back to square 1 and make some tackles?!

Nobody on the defense can tackle.

Missed tackles are symptomatic of a lot of things, fatigue being one of those. An offense that cannot move the ball is a wear on its own defense.

I noticed the same thing...arm tackles....This defense needs to put on full pads on Monday and Tuesday and "hit" big time...and not that stupid "big cat" ego drill either....this is the least aggressive defense I have ever seen at LSU.

We're never gonna get off the field if we keep letting <5 yard runs go for 15 because we're trying to tie their shoestrings.

Exactly what I was saying last night. This defense lacks the basic fundamentals sooo bad that they cannot even position and properly tackle.
That is on the coaching staff .......

Diving after an offensive player seems to be Beckwith's signature move

I won't say a name either but a certain DE we got from the North looked like he was in sand on the option read by Marshall... I would have immediately took him out after that and tried Tuehema...

We had four diving whiffs in the same play, I made a thread about it, I bet there were forty or more instances if our defenders diving

The entire defense sucked. Not just one player.
