Yes, I was a Harris sunshine pumper all last week. But Jennings did play better. Seemed like the pressure and poor play calling got to Harris.

Unfortunately, Les Miles is not smart enough to make a quarterback change in a more timely fashion. Les waited until the MSU game was over before he made a change. He did the same thing in the Auburn game. In game adjustments for the offense continues to be a problem for Les Miles. It has been a problem his entire coaching career.

What about alternating quarterbacks? Play both guys early in the first quarter. This would help relax both quarterbacks. If one is playing better at the time then go with the hot hand for a couple of series. Defentiley could not be any worst than what happened against Auburn.

No he didn't. He came in when LSU had the best field position and didn't do anything. How many points did LSU score with AJ?

We've seen Jennings enough to know he is not the guy.

Les pulled him and named Harris the starter apparently because he is the future at the position.

Pulling him in a meaningless blowout was wrong

We need to take the lumps with Harris

I have seen Jennings in 8 games, he doesn't have the arm to play big boy football.

Now, having a big arm doesn't make a great QB, but Harris is going to be star at some point

I just know it...but the scheme must be edited for his skill set

I am afraid that won't happen

Jennings came in and made some funky throws as well. He was a little more calm and that helps but you could see he is just not it.

Harris would have been well served to get those reps especially all those series inside the Auburn territory. He may have connected with Dupre on that fade route. You have stick with the kid,, he's more talented. I don't mind losing if Miles is playing all the freshman and getting ready for next couple of years, but he's not doing that, he has no strategy at all. He's lost.

Not really. In consecutive weeks Miles has ruined 2 QBs.

We are fricked for the foreseeable future.

Les cannot develop QBs. It should not be a shock anymore.

Neither played terribly well. I'm starting to wonder about running off a couple of QB's that had been here awhile, I understand that Rivers looked terrible at Vanderbilt but was Rettig really that bad too?

No he didn't... Normally I don't bash coaches but last night was pathetic..... Play calling and personel killed lsu last night ..... We have a young freshman qb any body see and quick screens to get harris in a rhythm no you didn't ...... Yes harris made some bad throws but he wasn't put in many favorable situations..... And look we all love Magee and kh27 but I am done #7 and 34 need all the carries..... Theyare simply better..... Buga had 22 yards on his first three carries and disappeared.....

Jennings threw a couple of nice deep passes. Gave our wide receivers a chance to make a play. Played calmer than Harris. Harris was over throwing everyone. Harris was just to nervous. Maybe alternating qbs woukd have help Harris calm down.

Both played bad. It was easy to see when Auburn would pressure up the middle on a passing down. Both quarterbacks panicked and could not complete a pass. Auburn's defense was so simple it was pathetic. Stack the box to stuff runs early. Blitz one or two guys on third down. Watch LSU punt.

Miles wants his QBs to be a game manager to execute his "toss" plans. He wastes Harris's talent.

Harris looked totally lost out there. He's not read for SEC play. Jennings isn't a very good passer, but looked much more composed than Harris. I'd say work Harris in on the third drive next week and see how he does. When he shows he's more comfortable, hand the reigns over.

If LSU had a spread offense Harris would be lighting everyone up. Les Miles does not given Harris a chance to show his skills. Miles wants a pure pocket passer from a dual threat quarterback. Makes no sense.

I said something like this the other day. Harris may end up being the almost mythical QB Miles is looking for but he's far from being there yet.

Same thing with JJ. Miles tried to make him a pocket passer but he was much better throwing on the move.

They should. If one gets the hot hand though, stick with him
