Why all of these reports of Ebola victims in the U.S. All of a sudden?

This epidemic has been going on for a while without any people reported to have Ebola in the U.S. No news reports of possible cases or anything.

Then all of a sudden, after one reported case in Dallas and the talk of shutting down travel that followed it, we now have several reports from all over the country of possible Ebola cases.

It almost seems like media propaganda. It just seems too coincidental.

They aren't Ebola victims. They are fever workups. Because of DC and CDC dumbasses opening North America to Ebola, fevers of unknown origin are now Ebola until proven otherwise.

I was talking to an ED doc yesterday, and I expect this to get bad once flu season starts.

They dont have ebola. Most are just panicking and thinking that every cough and sneeze is suddenly ebola.

Every just needs to calm the frick down before someone does something stupid and ignites a riot.

Why is it now ok for people to be profiled at airports?

Because we have one confirmed case in the US. Now everyone is trying to be the first to report on a second, even though that is more likely to be his girlfriend.

Once again: hundreds of tests, ONE confirmed case (so far).

ABSOLUTELY FREE HEALTH CARE. Wouldn't you leave a straw hut for the game show prizes the wretched USA provides?

Please try to stay on topic. I am sure you can find a healthcare thread or two to bitch in.

Seriously, if you believed you may have contacted Ebola would you sit there and die or try to make it to the US (Assuming you had a passport)?

Because this is what happened in Dallas...

Yes. Another post that has nothing to do with the thread, but post on...

I was pointing out the first case because that's how it got here. Anyone with a fever coming from West Africa will face the prejudice that they have Ebola. Yes, this wasn't an real issue until Ebola found its way here. The media is hyping it, but at least its on the radar now.
