Trailer isn't half bad, but this type of stuff, see Lone Survivor, usually comes off has heavy handed, disingenuous and borders on propaganda. Luckily we already know that in real life Chris Kyle was a POS, no matter how Eastwood tries to paint him.

I've definitely already seen this. Eastwood's had a long dry spell, going on about 6 years now.

Lone Survivor wasn't as bad as others on the political scale, mostly because it was too dumb. However the story is about killing a guy, Shah, who killed a bunch of US soldiers while protecting his homeland. The very premise says the attackers are the good guys and the guy acting in self defense is evil because he's not American. Then the next 2 hours was a pro-war-on-terror, pro-invasion action film with some cheesy slow-mo to tear at the heartstrings.

I don't worship him, I've never met him. Did you know him personally? With his book and likeness in movies, his story is probably over blown but I doubt he was just another thug pos. Maybe not the best guy, but doesn't deserve to be smeared with no facts to back it up.
