Do you think it is inappropriate to discuss the subject?
I find it to be such silliness that we say things like "we need an open dialogue in order to learn / teach" and then get bent out of shape (or childishly mock) an such discussions.
Islam in general, and this Oklahoma mosque specifically, SHOULD be discussed.

That Oklahoma mosque and its leader have been tied to a lot of terrorist activity. Al-awaki, etc. Why wouldn't it be in the best interest of ALL Americans, Including peace-loving Muslims, to get to the bottom of what's going on?

Right. The Imam in Oklahoma has been tied to the Boston bombing, Al-awaki and some other people who carried out acts of terrorism.
