Are soft drinks a must? What about water and tea? Or water and lemonade?

A lot more water than just 50

And this for sure

400 red cups

Two faucets on either end of the room or facility.

Environmental and cheap

Really why don't people just get a bunch of 5 gallon tanks from Kentwood and put up Kentwood faucets in various locations? Bottled water is so stupid. The water is bad for you because it's been sitting in the hot plastic and it taste like plastic.

Is this to just go with a meal or an event? You should have water for everyone regardless. Maybe 40 each of the others.

I assume this is outside. If so, in Florida at 10:30 in the morning eating spicy salty BBQ, you better have enough water for everyone and then some. How long does this last and are the drinks supposed to be available during the entire event?

It sounds more like a buy a ticket & pick up a plate and a canned drink to-go kind of thing, which is why he's wondering how much of each drink he should have on hand.

OP: If that's the case, the numbers you posted sound fine to me.
