Best NFL Game of the Week Will Barely Be Shown East of the Mississippi

The best game of the week is EASILY Arizona at Denver. But few people East of the Mississippi will get to see it, because the NFL pre-determined that CBS has the doubleheader this week.
Arizona/Denver audience is in blue
So...what is CBS showing in this time slot?
Red is Kansas City/San Francisco
Blue is Jets/San Diego
And no. I will not buy Sunday Ticket and I will not go to a sports bar. Roger is lucky I'm watching at all. And actually, I won't because I don't like the 49ers and don't care to see them for the 4th time in 5 weeks here in Louisiana.

So it's showing in LA and MS? I think you mean purple

Early Fox: Saints/Bucs (light blue)
Early CBS (not shown): Cowboys/Texans
Late CBS: Chiefs/49ers

That is strange. I wonder how they decide which games to show.

They decide before they know whether they will be good or bad and the doubleheader network is determined in May when the schedule comes out.
So it was determined before the season that we'd get the 49ers and Chiefs and they have to stick to it because the other game is on Fox and they won't give up what I believe is their only Peyton Manning game this year.
49ers: Whipped by Arizona
Chiefs: Whipped by Denver
Arizona and Denver: Nobody gets to watch

Purple is Buffalo/Detroit. Look up in the Great Lakes region. Light blue is the Saints game.

They changed the rules so that some games that were on Fox would be on CBS and vice versa.
But I PROMISE YOU what happened is that Fox would have thrown a shite-fit if they lost their Peyton Manning game for the year so CBS could show it in the double-header slot.
Some games are moved from the early to late time slot if it becomes a marquee matchup, but they usually don't do that until November and December. Fox can't move this game around because you can't play in Denver for the noon spot.

SF / KC will be a good game and there's more on the line with those teams.

I know, because they need to keep up with the first place teams: ARIZONA AND DENVER.

Does people really not have redzone?

Not a huge fan of redzone. Game Pass on the other hand...

Ain't giving the NFL any extra money. I want to see the game, but I don't want to see it so bad that I will pay Roger Goodell for the privilege.

What's so great about Arizona and Denver?
Posted on 10/1/14 at 5:07 pm to lsutigers1992
I'm not sure if I'm in the minority on this but the non-Texans games I care about watching completely depends on my fantasy squad. I could give a frick about watching the "best game".
I have nobody on Denver or Arizona but I do have Crabtree and Charles so the fact they're showing KC/SF pleases me greatly
ETA: also I don't care about the NFL enough in general to get redzone

after this week flex scheduling begins

Arizona: Unbeaten, first place in the best division in the NFL, one of the most dynamic teams in the NFL, 10-6 last year, beat San Francisco
Denver: Everybody knows Denver, one loss in OT on the road in Seattle, built-in Peyton Manning Cult Fanbase, beat Kansas City, half-game behind San Diego b/c of bye week
And like I said, I have 49ers fatigue. 80 percent of their games have been broadcast in Baton Rouge already this year.

Definitely the best of the bunch being shown at that time slot, but yeah I don't see this as a "can't miss" game.

You didn't mention the Cowboys vs Texans game. Which is the best game.
