Not necessarily boxing but any type of martial arts, boxing type class for the first time? Feel weird like an older guy doing something like this for first time? What did you take and what benefits were you looking to achieve?

The benefits are great, I bet. You will get in fantastic shape. Not to mention, your shirts will start sprouting sequins and graphic designs. Your hair becomes hard due to all the extra testosterone.

I haven't but you should do it IMO. Boxing is about the best workout there is, just try to go ONE entire round with someone and you will see!

I just wonder if your English papers in school or any essay questions you've answered actually contained periods!

I feel like i'm interested in the boxing training with bags etc and all but i don't feel overly interested in hopping in a ring for sparring sessions.

I've been wanting to take BJJ classes but I just don't have time. I would like to take boxing, kickboxing, muay thai etc classes, but I don't want to get punched in the head.

I started boxing and muay thai about 3 months ago and I love the cardio and the muscle definition that I have achieved. Also it never hurts to know how to defend yourself.

I kicked enough arse in my 20s to last a lifetime. I'm 40 now and have laid violence aside

I've been in BJJ for a few years, but I started in my mid-20s. With that being said, there's lots of people 30+ that I see starting. I can't speak for boxing or other martial arts, but in BJJ I wouldn't sweat the age thing a whole lot.

Look into BJJ. A lot of older people take it and love it. Wish I had the time for it again b
