She was equally as terrible in the first debate. I didn't watch this second one, but the first one all she did was attack Abbott instead of discuss her policies - which Abbott did beautifully.

I didn't see it, but it must have been bad.

Abbot's campaign was spamming my twitter feed (via paid ads) with a link to the debate, and the text:

Anyone watch the debate with abbott and davis last night?

anybody got a link to the debate or some clips of it. I could use a good laugh between class and study time.

it was such good television

she was a total disaster (policies aside, she was horrible on TV)

she kept bringing every question back to memorized talking points about Medicaid and obamacare bringing dollars to the state ( )
and couldn't adapt to any kind of question, and she went full on al gore with the terrible fricking body language and demeanor (cracking up at abbott's answers)

she was a fricking epic train wreck.

And she'll be an MSNBC commentator within 15 seconds of her losing.

no, she was so awful...if she can get a job in television, Kige should send his resume to ESPN, CNN, Fox News, etc.

Abbott and Davis?

if this is the best they could muster to turn texas

Considering I thought you were referring to a vaudeville act revival, I'd say neither candidate, if in fact they are candidates, is making a big splash on the national scene.

That's a you problem. As far as governor's races go, this one is pretty known.

"he has never walked a day in my shoes"

"stand with wendy"

"The only thing Abbott & his allies have proven with these desperate attacks is that they don’t understand these Texas stories of struggle"

- Wendy Davis talking about her paraplegic opponent

she's made a splash alright. "Abortion Barbie" is also one of my all time favorite political nicknames...next to "tricky dick" "slick willy" and "hildawg"
