Or should they not offer either? I believe bates could turn into a great defensive end. Walker prolly the same or lb or slide inside but they both have potential?

They will if they can't get commitments from elsewhere. I think it's clear we need help in our front seven

Some poster claiming to know Bates' family said he was a long shot even if offered. No idea if that's true or not.

I've heard that 95% of all guys like Mr. Bates, and the other 5% lie about it.

I've heard that Les has serious concerns about reaching Critical Jalen Mass.

So, you're saying he could be a DT or a LB? I don't know much about the guy, but that seems a little ambitious.

Reggie Walker is too short to play end at LSU and doesn't appear to be very good in space to be a LB.

Bates wants to play DE. Heard LSU was interested in him playing tight end.

Bates maybe. Wallace is the best end in the state IMHO. However he's such a tweener. My prob is why we recruit so few LBs. Every year it's our weak point since Shepard and minter left. Welter got ate up against moo state and on tape he's seen calling to be subbed; IMO welter knows he's the weak point. Just wish Chavis would get off his tail and coach up his position group.
