Fulham Manager Search Committee Announced

I don't see this getting much traction on the Fulham 2014-2015 thread, sorry to repeat the post.
Mr. Khan names Manager Search Committee
The five include two former Fulham players, a former Premier League player and manager as well as a "fan."
The "fan" is David Daly of Nike
Danny Murphy and Brian McBride.
Niall Quinn and
Huw Jennings.
Interesting, I kind of like the makeup of the committee, especially McBride. Murphy is interesting as he may be angling for this job, himself, at some point.
Mr. Khan names Manager Search Committee
quote:
Chairman Shahid Khan today named a five-person search committee to provide guidance and leadership in identifying and reviewing candidates to serve as the next First Team Manager of Fulham Football Club.
Khan said two weeks ago that he will lead the search and ultimately appoint the position, but would seek counsel from qualified football people from within, close to or outside the Fulham organisation. In the case of all five committee members, knowledge of and respect for the traditions and standards of Fulham was a must for consideration.
“I’ve got the right five men to help us find the right man for Fulham,” Khan said. “They each bring something similar, and yet unique, to the search. They understand what we want to achieve and they’re committed to the process. And they very much respect Fulham. They know this is a special job for a manager and they want to play a role in making sure we get this right for everyone who plays for Fulham or loves the Club. And we will.”

Niall Quinn may also work himself into a job at Craven Cottage/Motspur Park as it appears that Mr. Khan may be by-passing Alistair MacKintosh, the G.M.

Bring on Bruce Arena

Ya know, Jwho77, I've mentioned to the FB group I admin. that Bob might not be a bad shout for FFC. One of the troubles this past year or so is disorganization especially at the back.
But at this point, I'd like to see Kit Symons get a real shot as they have some confidence under him right now. Plus, so many of these players are "his" players from the successful youth set-up.

They could, and probably will, do a lot worse than Bob Bradley.

I was only half kidding. And Bradley would do a lot better in England than Bruce Arena.

I think Bob would do well in England, and starting in the Championship wouldn't be the worst move ever.
That said, at this point it looks like Symons has to be the favorite for the Fulham job.

Bob Bradley in Norway
Just read this the other day. They really like him at Stabaek. He started out strong, but have dipped recently.
quote:
Added Tor-Kristian Karlsen, a Norwegian who’s the former chief scout and sporting director for several European clubs, most recently at Monaco: “He has done a terrific job. I believe Bradley deserves a chance in a top European league, and England would suit him perfectly. In any case, no one really believes he’ll be in Norway for much longer. He’s too good for that.”

4-0 win? Awesome afternoon! Helps with points, and goal differential!

I cant figure out why bolton is so bad...maybe stubear will inspire them

Clean sheet was the biggest key. Four goals was a bonus. Yes Bolton are struggling, but it was a thorough beating and easily the most comprehensive and confident performance all season from the boys.
Now off to Boro where a good result could portend a strong run for this squad.
ETA: It's refreshing to see Ruiz and Hugo active and contributing. Seems there's a positive attitude for the first time in a while. And for all my knocks on Amorebieta he's putting himself in good positions since Kit took over.

Agreed. Bradley would be an interesting consideration for the job. I said Arena as a total joke

BraveTiger, I agree completely.
