Didn't the recent update really help with that? I read something about that.

I have one battery life is good. I wear it about 15-16 hours a day and i take it off and battery is still around 30-40%. I've only had it about 5 days so maybe it was after the update.

are you looking at your watch now instead of the phone? When I looked at them at the store, I wasn't that impressed at what it can do and said that I would just take out my phone if I want to do something. I'm a person that responds immediately to text, so if I see it on the watch, I'm getting my phone out anyway.

Yes I look at the watch first now. You can text from the watch by talking to it or pre program quick replys.

There are apps for it as well, check in apps, tiny cam, maps, Starbucks pay,. more popping up every day.

That's cool. I however, don't use the speech stuff with Google. I don't default to that and would feel awkward doing that. lol

Just wanted to post an update, I have been wearing my watch for a while now and have been very happy with it. Battery has only not lasted the day once, and it was when I was traveling and had navigation running on it for about a 4 hour trip. Even then, I threw it on the charger for about 15 minutes and it was at 30% and made the rest of the night.

It is nice in meetings to be able to look down and see emails without having to pull out my phone which is generally frowned upon. Voice commands work pretty well as long as it isn't noisy, but the text messages have to be short or there is no telling what I may end up texting someone.

I find that my phone stays in my pocket a lot more, and having the navigation directions on the watch when driving is much easier than trying to look at the phone. Build quality seems to be really good, and very happy with it so far.

Lg g owner here. I pretty much agree with you. The lollipop update for wear should be dropping anytime now and that should make these v1 devices much better.

Eta my wear watch was a god send during the birth of our baby on Tuesday. It made the craziness of all the people communicating with us way more manageable. 2 thumbs up.
