Im from rapides parish. I grew up going to the paragon to see the 5th dimension and cheap trick among other things.
I went to Baileys and Kurls in high school and saw a wet tshirt contest where a one armed lady won the competition.

saw warrant at kenny's key west in metry pre katrina.
i enjoyed their show.. saw cinderella there as well. surprised their not included in this show.

Sounds like a fun lineup. A weekend of cheesy hairbands sounds kinda awesome, actually. I was born way too late to experience anything like that, so this could be fun for me. I'm just not sure who to take. My SO is busy that weekend (plus she's not a big 80s metal fan). I might ask my aforementioned brother or one of my friends instead.

George Lynch, the original guitarist, is considered one of the best guitarists in metal.
Not every metal band in the 80's was a 'hair band'.
