I think 28-31 is the most we can give up. Look at the games in JHS over the past and you will see that 31 wins most. Even when $Cam was there.

If the coaches scheme this right, I think we can put 35-38 on Auburn. Their defense still isn't very good.

So 34-37.

My initial instinct was 24 but I think the Auburn D is less than stellar and I think Harris is poised to have a big game in his first start, so I think 35 may not be far fetched at all.

I think Lsu needs to hold Auburn to the mid-20's to have a legitimate shot at winning.

I think we score 35 so I'd say 34.

While they did put up 45 on the little tech bulldogs, the defense also gave up 17 to a less than decent team. Their defense is not what it used to be. IMO 28 is the most we can give up.

In a best case scenario (Harris plays extremely well and we threaten downfield consistently), I agree.

However, a more real # is probably 24...which is why I don't think we can win this game.

28, we give up more than four TDs + FGs and we will likely lose.

Red zone will decide the game. If we can convert more often than them we win, if not we lose.

With that said, I think we must limit them to 30 points. 3 TDs and 3 FGs.

If we can get a big play and force a turnover or three, we can score more than 30.

While I appreciate the optimism of you guys, to expect we score 28+ points on the road, in Jordan Hare (a place where LSU always struggles to score no matter how good our team is) and with a freshmen QB making his first start is being over optimistic. Les is still the coach. If we give up over 24 points, we lose.

Dude. fricking 24. Max.

I don't understand why some of you posters think we have this amazing offense.

Hey Biff Dinero, I think it's a valid observation. The LSU D is not suddenly going to stop one of the most prolific offenses in America even though K State has a perfect blueprint for it. I'm thinking this one is an Auburn win 45 - 31.

We put up 26 on a better defense with only 3 minutes of Brandon Harris. Granted the circumstances were different, but if auburn starts scoring early and often and we have to really open things up to try and keep up, we could hit 24 very easily

If Les does his usual conservative offense, we lose by 3 TD's. I hope to see more spread and balanced run/pass, rather than run, run, run, pass.. Look for a shootout at JH.
