I have not watched a single snap of OU football this year. I have heard the O is powerful and relies on the run. I know OU has a history of being over inflated in the polls to only fall mid season. Otherwise I have nothing to judge them by.

I have watched every TCU snap this season. TCU is a good team this year and once again has a very strong run D and a good pass D. The O has improved and the QB has matured and is making less mistakes. TCU has instituted a hurry up offense and has great speed on both sides of the ball. I know they are good and think they could be great this year but I am not certain about that. They are unproven against a good team so far.

Although TCU plays this game at home, statistically the frogs have underperformed at home.
I'm just not sure where to side on this game.

From what I saw vs. Tennessee Oklahoma's offense was a bit hamstrung when they couldn't run the ball. No real receiving threats were there, so if they can't run it, and have to throw, they can be in trouble.

And TCU always is top of the nation every year when it comes to run defense.

TCU's offense will decide this game. I am confident the Frogs will be able to hold Oklahoma in the teens or lower 20s like they have the last 2 times they played. TCU has scored 17 in the past two meetings. And from what I have seen from the TCU offense I am not a believer yet. They still struggle to run the ball, and are still terrible in short yardage situations(even against SMU). Also they still have not improved much on 3rd down conversions.

TCU will need a few big plays to overcome its 3rd down/short yardage situation shortcomings, and perhaps a defensive TD, to win.

Umm OU, because they're worlds better. Could be the most complete team in the country.

This is kind of what I was thinking too.

Sterling Shepard had 109 rec yards vs Tennessee. And has 100+ in every game this season.

OU because we are huge up front on both sides. We get to the QB easily, and we make it easy for our RB's to get space. Our freshman RB Samaje Perine ran for 242 yards and 4 TD's in our last game.

Out offense will struggle, TCU'S will struggle more. It'll be a relatively close game and fairly low scoring.

Lack of physical WR is the main thing missing with this OU team. Both lines are great, and that's what wins you games.

OU wins 27-17 IMO. As others have said they have too much talent on the lines
