Brick at St. Thomas Aquinas/Pope John Paul game Friday

Was there watching 2016 DT Edwin Alexander. Got a great look at St Thomas 2016 Athlete Cam Dantzler also. Dantzler was by far the best player on the field Friday and showed it at a good time. He's a little light now but he's a great hitter and the Kid can run and jump out the gym. Played WR last year, QB this year.

Lot of colleges are gonna start paying attention to this guy when they are scouting Alexander. If he puts on some pound, he could be very talented on defense, he is very very quick to the ball

6'2 160 is more than a little light. He needs to put on some weight badly.

He is uncommitted, and that is who Brick Haley was there to watch Friday. LSU has been following him very closely as of late.

While this is true he also had over 150 yards rushing vs. 3A playoff team Loranger before exiting early in he 3rd quarter with an injury. Kid is the real deal and will perform well on any stage, big or small.

I have seen Dantzler twice and just didnt see him as a D-1 guy. Kid is a great athlete at the HS level, but i dont see him making it to LSU. Hope he proves me wrong

Cameron Dantzler ran for 186 yards and four touchdowns and also threw for 101 yards and a score vs. 3-1 Pine on Friday. Far outperformed QB Derek Dillon of Pine who is a Florida Commit.

Christian Campbell ran for 130 yards on 3 carries. He still doesnt have an LSU offer

Both Cam and Ed were very close to Coach Gauff the last two years. Coach Gauff is no longer at STA, but he was very "anti-LSU" and I think it rubbed off on Cam, Ed, and some other athletes. I hope I am wrong bc I love LSU, but I don't think Ed ends up at LSU and I doubt Cam even gets an offer.

Very interesting about Coach Gauff. Hes one of the best around.

I know Coach Gauff on personal level, and that is not completely accurate. He went to college and played basketball at Alabama, so naturally he would not push athletes to attend LSU. However, he just wants what is best for the kids in the end.
