I wouldn't go that far, but I agree that Yankee stadium and Fenway Park make the playoffs a lot more fun to watch.

Oakland and LA Dodgers will be fun though. And frick Saint Louis.

To me, the Yankees are a waste of a playoff spot.

I have such a high fatigue of that organization.

Just say the 162 game goodbye parade to Jeter wasn't enough for you

I've never really been a Yankees fan but baseball is better when they're winning

Does ESPN always tell you what you should be interested in?

Just kidding. I like that there's a lot of new blood in the playoffs this year.

First time in the wildcard era that neither the Yankees or Red Sox are in the postseason.

Baltimore is going to be a fun crowd. I think their energy will translate well on TV. But seriously - frick St Louis. Boring arse team and I'm sick of their "Baseball America" schtick.

So you're simply a frontrunning type of fan?

I'm a Yankee fan who use to love baseball. Football is king now and if the Yanks aren't playing then I don't watch. I'll still watch SC to see who wins, but that's it.

I'm interested to watch Baltimore and Pittsburgh.

both headed by ex-Rangers personnel, both great baseball towns.

eta: not a Hamilton pun

Glorious. To hell with them. And the Red Sox too. The Yanks and Sox ought to get together as one this week, watch some baseball, play some "Sweet Caroline" and "New York, New York" on a continuous loop and then take turns jacking off Derek Jeter.

I always resented the Yankees getting the "prime time" treatment from the networks during the playoffs. If it was a night game during the week, you were going to see the fricking Yankees. Back in the mid 2000's, when the Astros actually used to make the playoffs, it used to piss me off that the Astros were always relegated to the noon game during the weekdays while the Yankees got to be the night game. I hope the networks get a full decade of Royals-Pirates World Series, just to frick with their ratings.

Now if we could just get rid of the Cardinals and their "greatest fans in baseball"

Ya I always root for the Yankees to make the playoffs. On an unrelated note, I also root for the IRS in tax audits

No, it is about the notion that contrary to what the world believes, the playoffs and MLB CAN survive without the Yankees.
