To be fair, his O-line has been absolutely horrible. He is scrambling on every play.

He's asked to make a lot of checks at the line. One thing I've noticed today is how predictable his cadence has become. I think it's a huge factor contributing to the pressure he's seen all year.

Kap has been one of the most overrated QBs of the last few years. His awareness in crucial in game situations is not where it should be at this point in his career. He is not an accurate passer on a consistent basis.

That said, I do like the guy.....not to mention his potential is still off the charts.

Not getting that play off with third and one in the red zone is ridiculous.

I kept reading all off-season how he was killing himself working out like a maniac blah blah and every time I read something like that I'm like "you're fit enough dumbass, get in the film room and don't come out for six months."

Geesh... does he need to improve? YES. Its his second year starting out the gate. Would it be wise to give him time to develop a little bit? Its rare for a QB to have everything figured out this early in his career.

I assume you didn't really read my post, because what I was saying was the guy should focus on the mental preparation to improve.

He is somewhat of a headcase on the field. Agreed that less time in the gym is called for, his weaknesses are all mental.

Sorry, wasn't directed at you.

Kap needs to work on getting more comfortable with his progessions, and being aware of the situation. The OL also needs to protect better so he has time to be a pocket QB first.
