I'm gonna go out on the limb here and say Harris will end the season with the highest completion percentage in the NCAA and LSU will have the highest scoring totals as well. This new passing game with Harris at the helm will make every running back we have look like a Heisman candidate, he's that good.

Offensive problems solved. Now, the defense may cause us to lose some games, but if Harris is as prolific and effective as I predict he will be, we may still run the tables on the year by scoring so many points per game a high school team could play defense for LSU and we'd still win. I so hope I'm right about this.

Yeah, let's set unreal expectations on a true freshman.

Slow your roll.

Let's temper expectations considering much better and more complex defenses are on the way.

Lol I'm excited about Harris' future but holy hell batman. Let the kid start a few games before you hail him as one of the best college qb's this year.

Beyond his years for skill and poise, making the most of his talent for sure.

The more significant statistic is that Jennings is only completing 50.6% of his passes against the weakest part of our schedule. Not what you wnat in an SEC quarterback.

Talk about getting overly excited about beating a high school team last night.

Who we play will make no difference. When he throws he will be just as accurate. He may get fewer opportunities to throw against Auburn but he will make very good decisions about running and will make Auburn's defense tap out running around trying to tackle him.

My only fear is Harris has not learned to slide and if he gets hurt his sub is Jennings.

I'm not ready to crown him as the completion king but he has looked good.

I believe a couple of his passes were dropped last night as well.

One incompletion was the Hail Mary which has a low chance of success. Overall...not too bad.

What's nice is he gives you more options/threats which doesn't allow the defense to cheat up to the line. This will help our O-line and RBs.

Jennings completed 80% of his passes.

Of course 40 of those percentage points were to the other team.

That's what happens when the ball is released quicker with more velocity and accuracy.

Only a fool can't see that his success made the running game better

Jennings is obviously the better QB at a 50% clip. Let's start him again
