Anybody seen the 'Box Trolls' , just got back from it.

Took the kids to see it. It had some funny parts, but a lot of it was dragged out and kinda boring. The stop motion animation was the best I have seen, that studio goes all out.
I don't know why kids go crazy for the "jelly" tagline, but if you take them, they will randomly say "jelly" for a bit.
I would give it 2.5-3 stars. Some points of it, I just wanted it to go somewhere, and a lot of the human characters were hard to like. But the animation and many aspects of the story make up for most of the short comings. Plus kids will love it.
It was better than 'Caroline' and 'ParaNorman'.

I was surprised that it has never been mentioned here. Searching "box", "trolls", "box trolls" and "boxtrolls" got no hits.
These stop motion movies used to get a lot of wow factor. They are definitely the hardest and longest to shoot of the animation forms.
If I hadn't had 2/3rds a bottle of wine first, I may have not been so sleepy and enjoyed it more.

My wife took our daughter. Said it was good although I think kids prefer brighter colors

It was ok, but not really my cup of tea. Thought it was a bit weird.
