I just finished my PC build (thanks to ILIkeLSUToo) and I was wondering what are so must play games on the PC or some of the boards favorites. I'm a fan of most all types of games..

Skyrim is a must. Loved it on 360 -- I've heard its better on PC. What exactly is Steam?

You can have another games worth of quests/items/new lands by downloading some mods. You can download them at nexus mods.
If you like the ES and Fallout games then playing them again on PC adds a virtually limitless amount of new content. They are still making major mods for ESIII Morrowind which was released over a decade ago.
Some other games I have been enjoying are Mount& Blade Warband(a sort of medieval fighting game) and Warthunder, a multiplayer flight simulator.

Starcraft if you like rts type games
Witcher 2
Far cry, assassins creed, COD, titan fall, battlefield all fun games. I wouldn't call them must plays.
My best advice to you is just do research and watch reviews on games you think you want to play. Make yourself a list and buy 1 or 2 games now, but hold out on the rest until a big steam sale where you will probably be able to get most your games under $10
