Traficant dies at 73

A family spokeswoman, Heidi Hanni, confirmed his death to reporters. The former congressman was injured in a tractor accident on his farm near Greenford, Ohio, on Tuesday. A former aide told reporters in Ohio that he apparently had a heart attack while driving the tractor, which overturned inside a building and left the former congressman trapped underneath.

This reminds me of a troll on TOS. His handle was Tom. He was a lib, but even the other libs thought he was a moron. He posted something about the scandal that got Traficant kicked out of Congress, and he misspelled it "Trafficant".
Someone corrected him on the spelling and he called the other guy and idiot and a jerk and insisted it was two f's. As a result, he became known as Tomm.

Trafficant should stand as great reminder of what happens if you turn your back on your own corrupt party, a shame the "Repukes" where too lame and weak to stand up for him.
Basic example of why DC politics are broken, and 2 parties are trash.

He was a D, but he always sat on the right side of the aisle, and voted with the Republicans. I was a page for the House in 1999 when he made some of his most awesome 1 minute speeches.
