he had two nice long TD runs but you had to watch the whole game to appreciate the impact he had, especially when Lakeshore needed yards and he went and got them on the final drive. No one picked Lakeshore to come to Owl House and beat us this year but they did. I'm pissed but as long as he doesn't carry the ball much, he can be Fournette's bowling ball the next few years

Geez, have you forgotten about Norris Weese, Vince Manalla and Bobby Mayfield? They used to terrorize the Catholic League.

i like how you say that, and we still didn't win it back in the 70s...

our history might not be so great, but Lakeshore doesn't have any and they lost to us three years in a row... and were picked to do so again

If he runs the ball hard and gets north and south he will continue to get carries. Also he can catch the ball which is definitely something we need.

i should have mentioned it on this thread but Fontainebleau and Slidell held him to 26 yards combined... Chalmette was about to do the same but he had two big carries for touchdowns...

That was more coaching than him getting shut down against Fontainebleau and Slidell. Lakeshore threw the ball too much in the past two games because that's what each of those defenses were susceptible to.

How many wins, championships, playoff appearances those guys got them?

Might not?

You've beaten them by 1 point two of the past 3 years including last year. They've only been a school 5 years and have made the playoffs twice, three times after this year which will be nearly the amount of times Chalmette has made the playoffs in the past 25 years.

Chalmette people are some nice folks, but you guys are some of the most delusional football fans I've ever encountered. You were probablly a slight favorite going into this game, but no one other than you and other Chalmette fans are shocked that you lost to Lakeshore.
