I really wish we were heading back into SEC play this week with our last cupcake scheduled later in the season.

Going to be hard to get excited about this one.

I just really need this game to get last week's bad taste out of my mouth.

I'm just ready to watch LSU football, regardless of the opponent.

That's the thing. A bounce-back victory against even Florida or Kentucky would go a long way in doing that.

This win will be as meaningless as SHSt and ULM--moreso even, since we at least thought we had a good defense at the time of those victories.

We'll win.

Probably big.

But even if we win 50-0, it's not going to make me forget about the Moo State game.

Beating Auburn will!!!!!!

When LSU fans look forward to a game vs NM State and "have a good feeling" about it, things suck!

We will squeak this one out and the ship will be righted.

frick this game. But it's not the worst part..the worst part is that many here will believe that because we beat them, it means our issues are fixed and all is fine. Les will tout AJ's play and we will be stuck with many more sub par performances at the qb position DEEP into SEC play.

People, we are playing the equivalent of a JUCO team. NOTHING positive should be taken from this game. It has no meaning when playing the next SEC opponent.

It's just that what we are getting under the "guise" of LSU football bears no resemblance to the LSU football you and I and all of us really want to be seeing. If there is even a hint of struggle versus NMSU, then we're getting Les football, not LSU football. And that's getting old. No, it's not "getting old." It's just so danged old, it stinks.

I want to see these talented players recruited by this same staff year in and year out, up-coached and UNLEASHED to play up to their potential, every minute of every game, win or lose. That's LSU football to me.

I feel good about this game.

LSU rolls to an easy win. That's what I'm feeling.

You're right. We should be like you and not be fans.

Fight the good fight, brotha!

I think we will see 62k fans tops. Never seen so many tickets available on the marketplace on a Friday.

Being bitch-slapped at home on a Saturday night by an SEC opponent will do that to future tix sales.

Obviously, we will win comfortably and hopefully we will get a lot of reserves on film, but it doesn't mean much. This is the last game this year, that I have high confidence about at this point and I do not anticipate that changing.
