Question about the CONCACAF CL...

Do MLS teams usually play this well in the group stage of this tourney? KC, D.C. United, and Portland are all on the top of their groups.
I realized watching the SKC game the other night that Guyana has 6 straight CL Championships (unless I heard the commentators wrong). Is this a surprising time as far as strength of the MLS overall, or is this typical play for the MLS vs CONCACAF CL opponents?

Seems like a team or two usually gets into the quarterfinals each year.
ETA: Pretty cool that four teams are at the top of their group. Well, actually, it's cool that three of them are at the top of their group. Screw the Timbers!

MLS will eventually dominate this tournament. It is close to happening.

I was only half listening to the commentators.
I enjoy all soccer now, and haven't necessarily picked a team. (Not why I am watching this btw... Lol)
I think I may just follow DeAndre Yedlin, regardless of the team he plays for.

Yedlin's playing right now; you should watch.
Although, the Sounders are currently down 1-0.

What network are they on? I live close to KC and still can't find it.

My guide shows Ultimate Fighter. It's on commercial right now...
ETA: Yeah, Ultimate Fighter. Dumb.

They're on MLS Live. It's not free. I guess you could try some of the free streaming sites if you really want.

Yeah, thanks for the info. I got it on gamecast on ESPN. Watching Gator Boys now. It's bad when that is the best thing on tv, considering you have watched every episode of Forensic Files ever aired.

...Liga MX has been dominating this tournament with their reserve squads. The MLS is getting closer, but close might be a misnomer.
