What should I do? Buy a cheesecake or go to Copeland's?

I think there's one on the Westbank.

And the Cheesecake is close to my house.

They have cheesecake at both places (just more selection at the Cheesecake Bistro)

Believe it or not, but Copeland's (I think it's available at both versions) has the best grilled chicken sandwich on the planet. I laughed at my SO for ordering it and it put my stuffed shrimp (which were quite good in their own right) completely to shame.

$75 for a cheesecake? That's ridiculous. I should start baking freakin' cheesecakes.

Went to Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro for a work dinner a couple years ago. It was pretty fricking terrible. I haven't been to Copeland's proper in a few years, but I recall the croissant burger always being damn good. Maybe just get a cheesecake and let the secretaries & vultures at your office tear into it. Washed down with a Diet Coke, of course.

Are these the only flavors?

For 80, I'd prefer to buy a banana pie from Emeril's, a Debby does Doberge Cake or a cake from Martin's.

I'd prefer to stay behind the curtain.

That's what I said too, but Copeland's apparently resells them from a high end cake maker in Chicago. So not exactly locally made.

I've got a guy who sells them way below cost.
