I watched Fruitvale Station for the 1st time last week and I've been thinking about it ever since. Keep thinking about the footage at the very end with his real daughter.

The Lego movie.

12 Years a Slave
Probably one of the most impactful movies I've ever watched.

Watched Blue Ruin on Netflix. Sort of a somber, quiet revenge movie. It has some decent stretches without a lot of dialogue. I tend to enjoy movies like that.

Edge of Tomorrow.
Great action movie. Best action movie I've seen in a long time.

Upstream Color on netflix about a month ago. One of those movies that you can't stop thinking about for a couple days after you watch it.

I haven't watched Upstream Color yet because I assumed my thoughts for days after would be, "What the frick was that movie about?"

It was different than Primer. Not so much a mindbending frickball of confusion. It's easier to understand, just for some reason it kept me thinking about it for days afterward.

Under the Skin in two ways
1. Scar Jo naked left a good impression
2. The movie was a cluster frick and left a wtf impression in my mind.

Boyhood or Under The Skin.
Boyhood is just remarkable. 12 years packed into an almost 3 hour span gives you the impression time's flying by with little milestones along the way.
Under The Skin really makes you think about the superficiality of humans.
