On average how long does it take you to get over an LSU loss ? Usually ticked off until we get a significant win . Still agitated after Saturdays' loss .

30 seconds

And even with that, I don't get upset.

Years ago it would put me in a foul mood for days. Now I'm over it right after the game. After years of highs and lows of LSU football I have become immune to letting it get to me.

That's called the 1/9 effect.

Dude, we still haven't recovered from the loss to Alabama in the NC championship game IMHO. It's been steadily downhill from then on.

Yep.

Before that game even ended, I realized just how irrational it was to let people that have zero impact on my life affect my mental state.

Sure I'll cheer for the Tigers and criticize decisions here and there, but it really doesn't get to me at all anymore like it used to.

Took me 8 months to get over the Iowa Loss.
Couple weeks to get over 1/9/12
Since then i have a 24 hour rule, but i usually get over it quicker than that.
Im not related to a player and have ZERO control over the outcome, so i don't let it get to me anymore at all.
When i was younger than the players then it bothered me, now I'm older than them and it feels different. Its like a jersey, you can wear it until you're their age haha.

By Monday. Already looking forward to the next game. Although this one being New Mexico St it's a little more simmered. If Auburn was coming up I wouldn't even be thinking about the game Saturday

Used to beat me up a lot more, but it really doesn't sting too much now. It's more of a "well that sucked" feeling. I have a fiancé. I have a job I have to perform on Mondays. I'm older than 95% of the kids out playin collegiate football. At the end of the day it's a game and it's just not that important in the grand scheme.
