I am getting a bunch of pictures of fawns still having spots. Seems like this is kind of late in the year for that.

Yes and I do every year. A buddy shot a doe in the middle of october and when they were skinning her guess what? She was pregnant with a fully developed fawn in her. This was in Fayette Ms. 2 years ago.

Watched one in my back yard last weekend.

Also, acorns are starting to drop from the oak trees around my house.

I've always thought it was pretty common for them to have spots through September and October.

I've seen them with spots on rifle season around thanksgiving

Saw a pair of twins with spots last weekend. Usually well into October we see the spots going away in southeast Arkansas where we hunt.
