That's awesome. I hate people who park like that near the entrance of anything. You don't want cars around you, park far away from other cars.

If I had an old beater truck, I'd be totally into doing that.
If someone parks on the outer limits of a parking lot, it's a different thing.

You're missing nothing. I saw this earlier this morning, and reading the title of the article/video I was like "frick yeah.."
And then I watched the video and was very disappointed. Vette dude just strolls up to his car, looks confused for half a second, and then gets in and leaves.

Makes me miss having a beat up car. I'd park in whatever space was available despite attempts/shitty parking trying to crowd me out.

Funny, but wish he would have parked so the douchebag couldn't leave and had to come in and ask whose car was blocking him. Then they could have recorded the lesson in not parking like a douche.

If people would learn to respect others property and not drag their fat asses down the side of vehicles or door ding the shite out of everything, then others wouldn't have the need or desire to park like this.

had a neighbor who owned a Ferrari back in 2005 or so...parked way in the back of a parking lot at Albertson's and some lady chased him down to heckle him about "thinking he's better than everyone else." He came out of the store to find the lady's car parked about 10" from his driver door.
so...it doesn't really change anything, people are just jealous

That's pointless. Just park your Vette as close to the curb island as possible.

Like others have said, if you feel you can't trust others around your car, why are you parking in the front anyways? You probably don't even have to park like a douche if you choose a spot far enough away.
