Looking for a new phone, but I don't follow that stuff anymore (Sprint)

I have a Galaxy S4 that I like ok, but I'm not in love with it. It just feels kind of average to me; feels really cheap. I'd rather something metal or even something just made of a thicker plastic.

I have no idea what's new and good right now, except that the new iPhones just came out. I had like an iPhone 3 forever ago and it was fine.

I mainly use my phone to watch football when I'm not near a tv, stream shows and movies, text and web browse. I don't play any games or anything and I use my office phone for making most calls, so I don't really make many outbound calls on it. I'm not opposed to one of the huge phones that just came out, but I'm also not really leaning towards those.

What do y'all think I should be looking at, and what review sites do you like? I've usually looked at engadget in the past.

Does iPhones have flash now? I remember thinking that was weird at the time.

I don't think anybody does now. Maybe Windows phone?

No flash. But it's less of a problem (for me anyway) now since most sites have moved away from flash.

Usually only an issue when I go to a restaurants full screen page and try to look at a menu. But it happens less and less nowadays.

If you absolutely need a full browser on a nice big screen (sounds like you do), check out the LG G3. It's plastic but solid and doesn't feel cheap.

Just got the LG G3 yesterday and love it. Same screen size as iPhone 6+ but feels much better in the hand.

No, just an archived .apk for Android.

If you are big into media, look into the HTC One M8 Harman/Kardon edition. best phone audio you can get, and the Clarify processing does noticeable work with cleaning up compressed audio.

This one was interesting to me, but I'm a little hesitant on the Windows aspect.

that version is just for Android. The M8 comes in either Android or Windows Phone. I'm a huge fan of Windows Phone and believe it's the best overall mobile OS.

They have an Android/Sense version available I am pretty sure. I thought that was all they had for a long time and the Windows version is a new option.

None of these phones that are out right now really do anything for me.

I say keep the S4 then. If you're good with it and nothing else has dazzled you, why upgrade?

Adobe even dropped support for mobile flash like 3 years ago.

Cracked screen, mainly, and I can updgrade if I want. Just nothing to really wow me. I may go to the Sprint store and play with some after work today and see if one kind of catches my eye. I doubt it, though.

Another alternative would be to just get a new S4. You might be able to get it for free with a new two year contract.
