It certainly felt like a bottle episode in a lot of ways, but that's not a bad thing.
Character developments:
-"The Coulvry" May & Coulson might actually become a thing. They were certainly the high points of the episode. It couldve been a little tighter, but I enjoyed their focus
-Hunter is extremely likable as is Mack.
-Fitz is moving forward with his life. Makes me wonder if he is going to quit down the road or they bring someone on so he can hook up with.

Anyone else notice Morse spinning the twin sticks in the preview. All she needs now are the goggles.

Whitehall also seemed to throw down the gauntlet on how serious he can get.
Of course, I'm not too sure he is going to care for the thunder he is about to call down with Kyle Maclachlan owning the obelisk.

Did Mockingbird ever work for Hydra in the comics, because I don't recall it if she did?

not to my knowledge, I think she started in corporate espionage.

That episode was pretty good, I knew it wasn't talbot with how friendly he was acting though.

Random question here, but I want to ask while I'm think about it.
What is the deal with Patton Oswalt in this show? How did he die in S1 and now he's in S2? is it a clone or something

Ward killed him last season and they're playing the current Patton as the others brother but popular theory is that he's a LMD(Life Model Decoy), which is basically a mix between a robot and a clone. They are a big part of SHIELD's comic history. They have to come into play, on the show, eventually.
A lot of us thought Coulson was one at first until they explained how he came back.

Yeah they seem to be setting him up to be a LMD, Tripp seems to have a theory about him. I wouldn't be surprised if Tripp is the one who finds out a lot of SHIELD secrets, since he's really not doing anything else this season.

Her and Hawkeye were like the Bo and Hope of the Marvel Universe. So yes.

That's probably true considering he has a role in Avengers 2.

I was one of the biggest haters on Shield last year until it hit that upswing around CA2.
It's just a really well done show.

Who?
Morse is the first direct link to any of the actual Avengers that is being introduced in the show, as she eventually becomes Bobbi Barton, Hawkeye's wife.
