We were all obviously disappointed with Saturday, but sometimes folks lose perspective on how it affects people. The fan is down trodden but then turns to his/her lives and goes about their way until the next tailgate, couch viewing, etc. Not too much physical effort is expended typically, granted some do have to tote ice chests and pop-ups. Some may temporarily not see the purple in their LSU rooms so richly, but history offers hope of a new day to boast of the team they support (I.e. own psychologically). Their day jobs and the welfare of their families will remain unaffected. Many will just pass it off and wait for the next game.....others will seeth with disdain and animosity towards those they feel owe them accountability for letting their vicarious dreams wait for another perfect run.

The players and coaches, well, it's a bit different. Their hearts are broken. They feel the emotional burden of all those they feel they let down. They reflect on all the gasers run in the hot sun and the muscle ripping reps to failure. Blood sweat and tears are for players. Cold beer, finger foods, and laughter are for the fans.

so, go ahead and let the players and coaches know how they fricked up. Express your displeasure in a way they are sure to remember. Because theyfricking owe that to you.

Sure, they should've known what comes with the job, but many of you should too.

I actually think the fans (at least those on the rant) are affected more by a loss than the players. That's pretty sad.

Meanwhile they are getting a free education...poor players.

And as sad as it may seem I actually think you got it wrong...some fans hurt more than the players. Most of the players get over losses easier than the fans.
