I may just watch it on FFWD with a super short leash for performances.

That's what I would do. I'm not good at skipping an entire show either if I'm going to continue watching. Happens, but it's rare.

I hope you catch up. I'm getting tired of talking to myself and, on occasion, to Hat.

Sometimes I feel like you're vibing me in this thread, but then I realize you're just bored.

That's what I'm doing or trying to do.

Well, today, I'm a little bored, but not enough. I'd like a larger dose of boredom, but then again, I'd find something that didn't bore me.

I knew the above was coming. Took you longer than I thought it would, but I was successful. Now, stop wasting time and go catch up, so we can get back to business.

Well, for whatever reason, I wasn't bowled over with his performance and I like him. I don't think he should go by any means.

I thought Matt was borderline awful. That song has been done so much better on the show, Javier was a zillion times better way back when.

It was kind of another meh night of performances with some short moments thrown in, I think Anita did herself some body blows last night, that was just bad.

Not normally a fan of huge changes to songs for "performance" reasons, especially by the breathy, affectation voiced girls, but CWB blew me away last night with "Walk the Line", thought it was far and away the best of the night. So, my top three tonight are:

CWB
CWB, and, did I mention,
CWB
Ok, I will throw Damien in, he needs some song updates tho. I'm not even much of a country listener, so CWB was really good on an otherwise piss poor night of singing.

Luke was OK, TJ was bad, Chris didn't do close to what Adam wanted from the rehearsal but still was coach pumped after, my girl DaNica was great in spots but it didn't do anything for me. Reagan, unmemorable. This great group of singers is going off the rails, what is up with this? I may have to take back my comment from a few weeks ago that a contestant would be crazy not to go with Pharrell due to his ear and production skills....

I'm happy with the bottom three tonight. Exactly as I predicted, though I thought the Jamaicans "might" keep Anita in the mix knocking someone else down. I have a bad feeling she gets the save. And, again, I'd probably like her if she wouldn't put a reggae spin on every single song, if not making it totally reggae. It's too much. I hope she goes if that's the plan.

ETA: Agree on the Pharrell group song. Geez...

Reagan doing some kind of strange voice like she did last night. This is bad.

Anita was just so bad on that high note. Her arse better be gone.

Anita sealed her deal there. Ryan was better than both of them and he had some weak moments, but out of the three, I'd rather hear him again. Good results night. No more reggae is a good thing.

For some last chance instant save songs those were bad. Reagan sounded she lost her voice. Anita was so bad I fast forwarded through it. Ryan was meh which was good enough here.

I noticed in the fine print for the instant save that it was limited to residents of US and Puerto Rico which didn't help Anita which was good here. She needed to go.

I'm the only one who thought DaNica was awesome last night, huh? I also enjoyed Craig and Chris (although Chris should've watched Bruno Mars do the song ... he smiles, enjoys it and really sells it in his performance). Chris is a cutie with a good voice, but he needs to funk it up!

I thought DaNica fell short of awesome. Poor song choice. She's really good, but she's not Whitney. She's great as DaNica.

Bruno Mars is the best performer on the planet right now. He was awesome on SNL this weekend.

I didn't see NaNica Monday but saw her last night. I think she has a terrific voice. I'm glad she's moved on.

There's something about Lynyrd's Skynyrd's long lost blonde nephew that bugs me. He's talented and all, but almost too retro for me.

I'm also happy that Taylor John progressed. He's quirky and that's a good thing. He's got talent.
