Show sucked. Outcome sucked in many ways.
James David proved earlier that he could be a contender for this. I really think Blake screwed him on the song and the performance this week and I think he may have screwed himself on his previous song choice. I'd have still saved him. Bullshite to save Jessie. She's usually Adam's type with the strange pronunciations.
I'm highly ticked about Elyjuh. That was just so wrong.

Nah...and I don't melt down over Tiger losses. I get pissed and move on to the next game or season. Not sure I'll spend as much time on the Voice, though. It's not as important.

Just coming back to say frick America. When I want this country to vote for a black man (Elyjah), they can't step it up, but Obama is a two-term president. I am so annoyed.

Nah, man, I was impressed 'Merica actually stepped up and voted 2 minorities through in Damien and Anita, thought they both deserved to stay. Pharrell is smart, he recognized Elyjuh was going to struggle to pull votes on his team, and with Luke getting rewarded by voters for what was the 4th best performance on his team this week he chose to save Sugar Joans, I don't have a problem with it. Bryana had a very poor performance this week, so that can't be deemed a bad decision. The judges that made poor decisions were Blake and Adam for obvious reasons.

Sugar-didn't like the song or her performance. I think Gwen was trying to nicely say she doesn't know who Sugar is as an artist, but it was incredible.
Ryan-I like his voice. Good song for him. I wasn't sure if the first part of the big notes were off, but then they sounded fine. His best song so far.
Jessie-I don't get Blake's love for her. Not my cup 'o tea.
Damian-my first thought was what a strange song choice. I loved it.
Still watching, but posting this bc I keep losing posts.
DaNica-she must have some sort of chest scar. They keep her covered up to her neck. I don't know about that fake hair business. It looks strange on her right side, my left. I don't care for this song, but I care for her voice. I wouldn't have picked this song.
Taylor John-totally bizarre song choice. I hope it doesn't get him booted. I doubt many voters have ever heard it. I like him a lot, but I don't this song helped him. It wasn't dramatic or great. It's a whiny song. I love his voice.
Reagan-I couldn't understand the words in some parts. I like her voice, but I didn't like this much. She looks older. She's such a cute girl.
Luke-poor guy. Seems to be screwing up. He may be gone. Luke is pissed. Looks like a puppy getting scolded. Shouldn't have stood there with crossed arms.
Matt-I like Matt. I'm usually a fan. I have mixed feelings about that for him. He rocked it, but I didn't love it. He's good and I want to see something else from him.
Craig Wayne-that was heavy country and he pulled it off well. My favorite of the night, but the night hasn't been great.
I can't seem to ff fast enough. This show feels long.

I agree, not a great night overall. Really, since they've started the live performances it's been downhill.
About Danica's looks. She definitely has a better side. If she ever becomes a star, she needs to be one of those who demands to be shot only from her good side. Here's a picture of her from a few years ago. She looks much better without that Pentecostal hair they try to give her.

Some of those song choices were awful. Gwen screwed her team over

She couldn't have changed that much since that picture. Geez, her stylist is horrible. The wig she had on seemed lopsided or something. The dark hair was showing on one side and that dress!
I have no idea who is going home this evening. If Anita gets an instant save, I may have to stop watching.
I'd like to see Taylor John, Craig Wayne, Matt, Damien, DaNica and the mailman stay. They could whittle this thing down by more than two tonight and it would be okay for me. The judges made some wrong choices in their saves last week. I think I said that already a few times!!!

I was not in favor of the magnitude of change to the musical arrangement of "Creep", but DaNica is probably my favorite voice on the show. CWB showed me something last night, thankfully he got away from that bad song choice last week. Don't know that Luke ever got entirely on-point after his flub, but he still sounded very good. Damien was very good, don't see Reagan leaving, and all tho many seem to dislike Anita on here her vocal clarity and tone is really good. She should try something outside the island vibe though.

She sounds crabby. Other than 2-3 meh performances the rest are worth watching/listening. I would say Damien and DaNica were outstanding, Luke would have been.

To be honest, missing last night would have been fine by me. Even with those I liked, there were no home runs. I thought Damien's performance was interesting considering the song. You might want to see that one. The song choice for Taylor John was "If" by Bread and that was a strange choice and it didn't show off his voice as much as the judges apparently thought. It was hum drum and I really like him.
I'd probably like Anita if she didn't do the island thing or inject it in some way into every single performance.
I liked DaNica, but I don't know the song and someone else committed that they didn't care for her version of it.

Only watched half of the show last night but did anybody else not like the big notes Ryan hit at the end of his song or was it just me? I kind of cringed but then the coaches praised it. What did I miss?
