Is it time for the Titans to take away the keys from Locker and turn it over?

The Bengals blitzed 8 players 6-7 times yesterday and Locker missed receivers that were slightly open every time.

I say Mett may benefit from having a redshirt year this season. He gets some seasoning and also the team may be better next year, thus leading to more success down the road.

Yes. The back end of the schedule is very weak, so if there was any time to make a change it would be right now to get whoever the replacement is meaningful reps.
Even without the injury history Locker is just too damn inconsistent. He looked great in week 1 and terrible in weeks 2 & 3

Locker's accuracy is terrible. Can't say that Whitehurst would be an improvement and dont think Mett is ready yet. Mett needs to learn to read NFL defenses before the stick him out there and blow any confidence he had.

Leave it up to the Titans to draft a QB at #6 and are currently in Year 4 of "is he the answer at QB"?
The Titans love pet projects. See the 20 WRs drafted and kept on roster despite doing nothing for 4+ years, ie, Lavelle Hawkins, Paul Williams, Tyrone Calico, etc.
They also love guys Tommy Campbell and now Bleedy Wreh Wilson. I'm sure the Titans will find a way to keep Wilson on the roster for at least 4 more years.

Whitehurst stats since the end of the 2011 season:
6 rushes -5 yards, no passes attempted
Saw him play in the preseason against the Saints, was sacked on his first pass and knocked out of the game.

Mettenburger is def their QB of the future. Whitehurst is horrible and can't believe the bank that guy has made or that he's still in the league.
