I'm sure this has been a topic on here before but I didnt find anything.
Whats the best way to stream new releases. I am behind the times. I just got a chrome cast and its been great so far, but what do i need to do to prevent from having to run to a red box or something to get a new release. I saw they have it on Amazon Prime but its 2 or 3 dollars more to stream it than it is to get it from a red box. Whats the best and cheapest way to stream the new movies coming out??
thanks in advance for the help.

I prefer Vudu, personally. They have a pretty nice format and you can rent or purchase through them based on quality. So you can normally rent in SD, HD and 1080p. Each tier is usually $1 more. Rentals are usually good for 24 hours I think and they even have a conversion program if you wanted to update your physical library to digital.

That's the state of the market which I think is crazy. If they want the masses to pay for streaming new releases then the rental prices need to be comparable to RedBox. Between Amazon being Amazon and Walmart owning Vudu, the pressure should be there on the retail end to drive pricing down, but I'm not sure what it will take to make the movie industry lose their fear of following the market.
