Anyone else find some happiness in the game last night?

I was sort of happy it went the way it did. I never root for a loss, and wish we could've won especially as it was my sons first game in Tiger Stadium

That being said I'm glad we lost in the fashion we did. Was able to head out early in the third quarter to beat traffic, plus the boy was cranky and tired anyway so needed to get home early. Plus he just turned one so he won't remember it anyway. And by the time I got home I got to catch the end and see our future in Harris, from the comfort of my couch.

Could be worse, it's just a game. Win or lose, our lives don't change. Family is what's important all, lets keep perspective

People over exaggerate the effects of that.

Boy hears the misses and I argue all the time, usually ending with screaming at each other like a football game he's fine!

Losses bothered me a lot more before I had my two kids. My 2 year old and 6 month old solved a lot of that. I am a huge fan and have season tickets to football and baseball. I used to be depressed for a week after a loss. We can't control it guys. It's still our team. Win or lose we have what's important around us in our lives! Geaux Tigers.

Oh...that was y'all I threw a piss bomb at for leaving so early with big smiles on your faces? I kind of feel bad about it today.

Would be more pissed had it been a complete blowout. We almost came back and won. And we did it with the guy I've been calling for since the Spring Game.

Harris showed he's got the attitude and ability to be the QB we need for this young and talented team.

I just hope Miles who did say in the locker room interview they would revisit the decision for the starter can find it in him to break free of his stubbornness.

I admire those who can stay for most of the game. I have season tickets but usually out of there at halftime. I'll stay later if it shapes up like it'll be a good game. And I stayed last night because it was my sons first. If it would've been a tie game or 3-7 points, I would've probably only headed out a few minutes early. Traffic gets so bad, I'd rather beat the traffic and catch the end on the radio.

It's called maturity ... some people never achieve it as evidenced by this board.

Traffic does indeed suck. It was hot too for a baby to be out there so I can see why he would be cranky. I know some people though that come from a few hours away and leave just after 2 quarters and change have been played...seems kind of pointless to me, but anyway...

the last 5 minutes...you should have seen the wide eyes of the MSU faithful and the "oh shite, they're going to pull it out!!!" looks...

YES. The light bulb went on. I finally was forced to admit what a waste of time and money my lifelong affair with LSU football has been. Don't care if I never attend another game (although I'm sure I will).

I doubt I can ever say I'm "happy about the way we lost". That is a little odd, to me. If someone if really that indifferent regarding the outcome, I'm not sure why they'd even bother going through the trouble of attending the game, in the first place.

That being said, I was encouraged by the way the team clawed their way back from such a deficit. Harris showed he has great potential- and I still believe he is our future.

My expectations of the Rant were certainly met, however. All least we aren't poisoning trees, yet.
