You know we are going to do the samething against New Mexico State as we did against ULM. We are just going to run in down their throats and over power them. We will obviously just maul them down. Which will do NOTHING to get us prepared for Auburn and Florida.
I am with SlowFroPro on this one now....Whats the point of the rent-a-win games if we are just going to out mussle them and work on nothing?? Anyone with half a brain knew we werent just going to run up the middle all night against MSU's dline. And we wont do it against Florida....or Alabama......or Auburn! I just cant see how we will be prepared for them by not working on things in these easy games.
I think as fans, we need to make a change when talking about LSU's stats. I will only look at what our stats are vs. other SEC opponents or big Conf. teams for now on....the rest are meaningless.
I hope you fans that were in the corner masturbating to our shutouts are now seeing the light. And I hope and pray none of you are still too dumb to realize that this is Les Miles's offensive team philosophy.... and Cam just tries to coach within it. NONE...I REPEAT NONE of our offense resembles a damn thing Cam Cameron has done any where in his coaching career in the past. Please tell me we dont have fans still thinking this is still Crowton/Studrawa/Cameron offenses we are running and they are just not do well. If so, we have some really dumb arse fans.
Tiger Stadium might be "where our opponents dreams come to die"....but its also where an offensive coordinators dreams come to die as well.

Rant over.

I will say this however....Dan Mullen coached a HELL of a game last night. To not give credit where it is due, is just plain wrong.

Reminded me of 1/9 game.

Les Miles is like hammering a square peg into a round hole. And Miles says "just keep hitting it".

Solid rant.

Funny how the infamous toss dive is such an integral part of ALL these varied O Coordinators huh?

If you can't see that the offense is diff from jimbo to crowton to stud to Cameron you are the idiot. Please remind me when we ran 50+ times in a game last season? We didn't.

Like I said....it is Les Miles's caoching philosophy.....and Cam HAS to coach within it. If you cant see that, seek therapy.

I am going to say something that is very radical. If CLM is going to run the offensive show and it will be versions of the same plodding, unimaginative, retro-70s Michigan stuff, then I'm pretty sure we're going to get the hell kicked out of us by every SEC team we play from this moment on. That means, if we're going to lose, I'm hoping we get blown out every week. I think only then will the powers that be at TAF and the AD begin to realize that football has passed CLM by and a change needs to be made - sooner rather than later. It will be painful, but it is necessary.
