Trivia question: Which active QB has the longest active streak if Peyton whiffs in the 2nd half?

The real record he's worried about is the all time touchdown record, which he will break soon.

Romo

He reached 32 today. He would be due to pass Brees in late 2015

I don't think Peyton really cares about that record

This record isn't all that important.

They called it the football equivalent of the DiMaggio record when Unitas had it. It got a lot of press when Brees broke it. And it would have been huge if Brady would have passed him up (but he missed it by one game)

It's more impressive than a yardage record

True it's not as impressive as Unitas' 47 in 1957-60, which was amazing

I would love for Romo to break the record to point out how stupid it is. Record is only possible in absurdly unbalanced offenses.

When Unitas had it, it was almost the equivalent of 4 NFL seasons, in an era when QBs didn't put up Arena Football stats.

It's amazing he's still at 3 now.

Currently, the record is the equivalent of 3.4 NFL seasons

No it's possible b/c the NFL keeps changing the rules to help the offense

When Unitas did it teams did not pass anywhere near as much, also there wasn't legalized holding by the OL and DBs could mug receivers

Why is Warren Moon only tied for 25th?
