Seems likely that the Braves will cut ties with both B.J. Upton and Evan Gattis this offseason.

Talk that B.J. Upton and Mike Minor could be traded for Edwin Jackson.

That would save the Braves roughly $6.5M in 2015, $9M in 2016 and $25M in 2017.

Jackson will earn $13M in 2015 and 2016.

Ervin Santana calls out the offense

quote:

Santana: "We have our confidence up, but at the same time, you have to throw a complete game shutout or something like that to get a win."

so what's the projected rotation for next yr?

givens--Medlen, Beachy, Wood, Teheran

gone--Harang, Santana, Floyd

?????--Minor

if they can shed B.J.'s contract, do the Braves look for an Ace or get dependable CF

BJ Upton

Heyward needs to take the next step, he is a great defensive talent but the offense needs to take a step forward.

I'm not trying to start a holy war with Vol or Lobster...but this shite is turning into a pipe dream. He didn't even go on his normal 1 month tear this past season...it is what it is with this guy, he can't be counted on offensively
