I dont mean to derail this thread but I just cannot fathom anyone giving money to any political campaign, unless its some special interest group buying their vote

He's just another Republican that relies on pandering to their voting base as opposed to trying to gain more outside voters. I'm not big on Mary Landrieu at all, but at least she has some substance to her campaign.

Cassidy makes me cringe. But if it's between him and Landrieu, I'll vote for him.
It boggles the mind that Cassidy is the best Republicans could come up with in Louisiana. He is not someone I want representing our state.

Cassidy doesn't excite me at all, but I'm not pulling a lever for Mary if someone had a gun to my head.

If you call substance running away from her record as a party hack, and an Obamacare proponent, and blaming Cassidy for everything from our border problems, to the woes of our veterans; then you are right on.
Mary brags about her position as a committee chairman and a DC insider, but then she pretends to be some kind of hero telling Obama like it is.
Anyone that believes a word of this crap is a party hack or not paying attention.
There were 60 Senators like Mary in 2009 and the results are still with us. Obamacare, record spending levels, and the same problems (domestic) that Obama proposed to fix.
