Yards per rush? How can this be? All the guys who worship the booger land or whatever said we'd have Herschel Walker x1,000,000.

Comparison of a spread rush vs a pile of bodies you call an I formation.
Give our offense the same spread attack and we would do better.

in defense of fournette he had a 20 yard carry on one of his 7 total touches last night and led the team in yards.

the scheme is just too stupid for anything to get going... spread players in a 1970's style offense

Bad Dline and bad O coaching. The Oline has talent.

He runs fine so long as no one is around him or touches him

I understand easing a young QB into the game, but as a RB, LF needs more touches. Can we let the guy try and get going?

yep, they weren't good at all for most of the night, but you know what? when the coaches sent pressure to dak, they sacked him a bunch. then they'd be on their heels.

same for offense. when the line would give jennings time to actually throw he was just really bad and out of sync with his receivers.

You cannot run the ball when the other team has everyone in the box because we are in a double tight end power I formation. It just can't be done.

The whole game was a train wreck

No solid or experienced DT or MLB.

But in defense of the D, its easy to give up yards when the offense keeps going 3& out or on very short drives.

The O line was bad... but Jennings hesitates WAY too much after his first (and usually only) read. Hes real good at hitting that initial guy, but not so much on his 2nd or even a safety valve.

Prescott is good. But if Mullen keeps playing him like he did against us, he won't last thru the season.

Hats off to MSU. They wanted this win and played not to lose.

Our Front 7 on D was one of my biggest concerns going into the season. We had trouble stopping physical type offenses last season. Doesn't help that Prescott is bigger than each of our LB but that's the kind that Chavis wants.

Those rushing totals explain the difference between the teams last night. I think most of us had some concerns about the D line. Our OL(our most veteran group) is just awful. I'll admit the scheme is not helping much but damn. Never thought I would miss Stud.

He was an overqualified OL coach who took our underwhelming 2009 OL product and turned it into our national championship contender in 2011
